Sam I have some doubts about the segmeter 2.0.

How do you connect it to the XBee?

When the PCB version 2 will be sold at the store?

Best Regards,

JORGE ORENGO

Hey Jorge,

Have no doubts!  V2 is awesome!

Its a whole suite of products, and it has Zigbee and an expansion.  Is designed to work with Dragino and I'm using less Zigbee and more OpenWRT with much much more reliable results.

The shop is a little behind at the moment, and each board will be as raw or a full kit with all components!

Thanks,

Sam, @samotage

Sam,

Atlast - Congrats. I just thought I will have a quick peek and V2 board in Shop!!. Eager to place an order and was expecting to see an email inviting existing customers with an enticing proposition. I ideally I would like to replace my V1 Segmeter and Segbox using the Zigbee link and add a few more of the 5mm sensors. Almost tempted to place an order now. What else is needed ? If you are using more of the O-WRT, does that mean you have moved to a new hardware platform and is ready to go ?

Hey Mano,

Thanks!  There is a whole V2 suite of goodies, and it's Arduino and OpenWRT based because they are both awesome - yet it is all new firmwares!

V2 has been rolling well - and too busy to get it all shoppd up! When it is, you can bet on a message to all the good people of SEG with a special discount code :)

Until then email me at sam at smartenergygroups.com to order!

Thanks,

Sam, @samotage

Speaking as someone with a brand new SEGBOX V2 with twin SEGMeter boards (14 of 16 channels + temperature running) in it, I must say I'm delighted.

Report the for first week: No teething or burn in issues.  Everything is running sweatly.  If it has restarted itself, it has done so without dropping a beat on the data front.

Sam, thanks for the fine work.

Thanks Glenn!

It was great to get you rolling last weekend, and you cooked up some awesome BBQ too!

I happy to hear your SEGmeter is all working, top stuff.
