Hi Jorge, We have a good supply here in Australia still :D However any compatable OpenWRT router with an internal serial port will work, we have used some DLink ones, the Venerable Linksys WRT54G in the past. This link takes you to the supported devices in the OpenWRt world http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start Sam. |

Thanks Sam. Thanks for the reply. I would like to buy it in Australia, but the duty and freight increased approximately 80%. This is absurd and makes for a dinosaur BRAZIL taxes.
Best Regards,

Sam,
I will test a MIKROTIK ROUERT 450 http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/mikrotik/rb450g?s[]=mikrotik I´ll USE THIS XBEE SERIAL BOARD : http://www.albacore.com.br/m/p/pg_prod/275
This router have a native RS-232 serial port ! I hope it works, I'll post the results here. Best for you.

Hey Jorge, That is a very interesting looking router! You will need to compile up the OpenWRT, or find a suitable image with the Atheros firmware image. We will be trialing some Atheros boards from Dragino very soon - we have the hardware, it's more of a design and software project. These use the Atheros target, and if you get stuck we could build an image for you. Looking forward to hearing how you get along! Sam. |
