Hi, I currently have the TED Home Pro installed and trending my energy use, however I have no idea how to get it to talk to SmartEnergyGroups.com.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe it comes down to knowing if the TED Pro has any ability to send its data it captures and can take the same and relay it to SEG.

Does the unit offer such network capability which conform to the packet standards set forth by SEG?

Hi Teken, it does have the ability to export data to 3rd party sites, but I don't know the file format.  They're tool just asks for an Activation URL and Activation key and I couldn't find anything on the actual file format anywhere on the web.  Here's a link to it's user manual:

Thanks in advance!

This is what SEG indicates: It's a really simple Comma Separated file, with two fields just like so:

2011-06-30 10:33:10, 559.0

I am taking a wild guess the Activation URL will be: api.smartenergygroups.com the Activation Key would be your SEG accounts *Token Key* which looks something like this: f55a7g19e6be444
