How do I go about reading data from my ISY994i Insteon Controller?

Hey ArynBergman,

I'm not sure how these work unfortunately...  You may need to build/program something to talk to it's web server, get the data from it to do something with it.  Its possible this has even been done somewhere before?

There seems to be an SDK for it?

If you can figure that out, read up on the SEG API, it will be possible to send the data you collect up to the clouds!

Check out this:

Hi Samotage,

Thanks.  I'm going to first test out SEG with the GEM and then once I have that up and running, I'll dig into this further.

Or you can consider SEGmeter!

our shop is being updated very soon with all the new stuff that we use :)

Hi

Did you ever figure out how to get data from the ISY into SEG?  I am trying to do the same and have posted elsewhere, but no concrete solution, yet.  Unfortunately I am not a scripter.

If you are interested there is a thread discussing this on the ISY forum here:

Thanks
