HI,

I have two ORs that are ajoined by an ante room that contains a sterilzer. We have conflicting views of opinion concerning how the sterilzed item should be transported from the ante room sterilizer to the OR. Some feel that it is ok to transport the wrapped item dressed in sterile gown, gloves, and mask to the field and unwrap. Others feel that you should don sterile gloves and remove from sterilizer and place on drapped sterile ring stand, unwrap, and then place on sterile field. Another group things it is okay to remove from sterilzer with bare or gloved hands, unwrapp and let sterile scrub take and place on field. I can not find any info that states a proper removal concerning an ante room. What are your thoughts?

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
